Environment
Our company believes in having a liveable Earth for our children. We have a few different strategies to make our company a green choice. Our requirement was for all our packaging to be made from recycled material and is 100% recyclable.
Shipping
- We use (at our expense) Sendle, a100% carbon offset shipping company to deliver these goods to you.
- We reuse cardboard boxes for packaging your order instead of using new packing materials.
Manufacturing
- We aim to use lead free brass on all goods, however there are a few products that use zinc and plastic parts, though we are looking to improve this as our manufacturing is scaled up and we can buy these parts in bulk
- Brass can be remoulded into different products.
- Our manufacturing practices are E1 standard and are ISO 9001 certified.
- There are no harmful emissions emitted, we use a charcoal and particle filter bank that filters everything that has a vapour fume or particle.
- Electric casting and machine power from a renewable energy provider.
- Our disposal of electroplating materials is done responsibly with nothing going into the sewer or stormwater. We also use special filters to reuse residue materials and clean the water used prior to disposal.
- There is some single use plastic that isn't the best, we are going to fix this.
We do have some aspects of our business to improve upon. By the end of 2022, we will be:
- Moving to completely brown boxes for all our products.
- Moving to QR codes for product instructions.
- Moving to recyclable water rating stickers.
- Phasing out single use plastic on flex-hoses.
